A local Leadership Board Member is a key volunteer who supports the ministry by leveraging their influence through prayer, serving, and giving.  By doing so, Leadership Board Members are one of the primary pillars of ministry stability and financial stability.

Board Members provide both prayerful and wise counsel from their giftedness and experiences as they serve on Board teams which will support ministry growth.

Commit to pray:  We ask that your engaged in prayer as we serve coaches and athletes in the community.  Keeping Jesus as the forefront of the ministry and having him guide us and our steps.

Commit to attendance:  Being involved with the board is essential and key to the success.  Being engaged in frequent communications between board members and the Area Director.  We do have a rather large county so some meetings are in person while others maybe online conference calls.

Commit to financially:   Our ministry is mission based to asking other to give and donate requires that board member are providing the same.  What exactly is that amount is between you and God but we do ask that all board members either give or help raise $2,500 annually towards the ministry.  Starting up a new fundraiser or helping in the success of a current fundraiser can help towards the annual goal.

Commit to experience:  We love it when board members are out in the ministry seeing the fruit of their labor and efforts.  It's great to witness God moving and changing hearts and lives forever. Connecting with the ministry and seeing obstacles or opportunities to help guide success.

Commit to serve:  Being involved while your serving is essential. It does take a commitment.  We have no term limits to be a board member currently so were going to be excited to have you and excited to see where God is leading you next.  We don't want you to feel stuck where your not called to be.

God gives us all amazing skills and inherent abilities in life.  Some are better than others of course but all can be used for God's glory. We do have titles within our board as to skill sets but it's not required.  If your great with the finance world then being a finance manager would be right up your ally as an example.  Prayer warriors and event coordinators are also great skills to have in serving.  Let's find out what gets you motivated and plug you in.
